Texas Football is bringing some serious heat to the field.
The Longhorns have unveiled a new Nike Vaporposite Pro Player Exclusive (PE) cleat ahead of their highly anticipated 2026 matchup against Ohio State.
The football cleat takes inspiration from Nike’s iconic Foamposite design, translating the unmistakable molded upper into a performance football silhouette. Nike introduced the Vaporposite Pro at retail in late 2025, and college programs have continued to receive exclusive versions of the model.
Texas’ edition delivers the school’s unmistakable Longhorns identity, pairing its signature Burnt Orange and White color scheme with the aggressive Vaporposite Pro construction.
And the timing couldn’t be better.
Texas is preparing for its Sept. 12 showdown against Ohio State, giving the Longhorns a fresh PE to debut on one of the biggest stages of the early college football season.
As with most player-exclusive football footwear, this Texas edition isn’t expected to receive a standard retail release, making it another highly coveted piece for collectors and Longhorns fans.
