The “Halo” Kobe IX Elite Protro is a new colorway of the well-received Kobe IX Elite that is slated to release this summer. Conceived as a tribute to the late, great Kobe Bryant, these sport an angelic all-white Flyknit upper with all branding and markings also appearing in white. Behind the tongue reads “Halo” and also features a Kobe signature, both in black and the only color on an otherwise monochromatic upper.
Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a white midsole equipped with a carbon fiber support rail at the forefoot and flanking the heel, along with a white rubber outsole.
The “Halo” Kobe IX Elite is scheduled to be released on August 24 at nike.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a 240 USD sticker price.
