LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Aces are officially underway in the postseason — and they made a statement in Game 1.
The Aces defeated the Indiana Fever 102-85 on Sunday, taking a 1-0 series lead behind a dominant performance from four-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson.
Wilson finished with 38 points, 16 rebounds, four blocks and two steals, shooting an incredible 15-of-19 from the field.
She wasn’t the only Aces star making an impact.
Jackie Young recorded 21 points, 10 assists and three steals, knocking down three 3-pointers while shooting 57% from the field.
Chelsea Gray added 14 points, five rebounds and eight assists, while Jewell Loyd contributed 10 points and two 3-pointers while shooting 67%.

A’JA WILSON SETS THE TONE
Wilson’s combination of scoring, rebounding and defense gave Las Vegas control as the Aces opened their playoff run with an emphatic victory.
Her 38-point, 16-rebound performance was the centerpiece of a balanced Aces attack that also featured Young’s 21-point, 10-assist double-double and Gray’s eight assists.
Las Vegas now holds a 1-0 advantage in the series.
