Player Spotlight- A’ja Wilson & Angel Reese A’ja Wilson scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Las Vegas Aces 104-85 thumping of the Los Angeles Sparks. The 28 points pushed the two-time League MVP into the all-time leading scorer at 4,301 points, just ahead of Sophia Young-Malcolm’s 4300.  Wilson also leads the league in scoring, putting up 27.0 ppg.  Angel Reese scored 17 points and pulled down 14 rebounds in the Chicago Sky’s 84-71 loss to the Seattle Storm. PE Corner: A’ja Wilson wears Static-inspired LeBron XXI

The LeBron XXI seems to be the favorite of the Las Vegas Aces toward A’ja Wilson, as already this season she has taken to the court in several player-exclusive iterations of the XXI.  This latest PE for the WNBA’s best player is inspired by Static Shock, the mainstream, watered-down, homogenized version of the original Milestone Comic character, Static.  It sports a vibrant blue upper, inspired by the jacket the character wears, adorned on the lateral side with an electricity bolt bordered white Swoosh on the lateral side and pink outlined…

Nike debuts A’ja Wilson’s logo

Ahead of the release of her upcoming signature sneaker, Nike unveiled the logo for 2-time WNBA Champion, Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson.  The logo depicts a stylized A combined with a star, which has been a longtime visual attribute in the “A”!of the signature of the two-time league MVP. According to Nike, “the base shape of the logo incorporates strong bold lines, symbolizing the strength and support she brings to her team.”  The logo will also appear on branded apparel, which is set to release soon.  Images via Nike
