Jordan Brand has officially unveiled the Air Jordan XLI, the newest chapter in Michael Jordan’s iconic signature basketball line — and the latest model brings a serious dose of performance technology to the court.
Alongside the official unveiling, Jordan Brand has showcased an initial lineup of six gemstone-inspired colorways, giving the AJ41 a distinctly premium and futuristic aesthetic.
The six looks range from vibrant red and tonal pink to blue, iridescent purple, black and gold, and a striking black-and-white combination.
But the AJ XLI is more than just a visual evolution.
Built for the Future of Basketball
The Air Jordan XLI features an impressive performance package designed around responsiveness, cushioning and stability.
At the heart of the setup is a full-length Zoom Strobel, paired with ZoomX foam for lightweight, responsive cushioning. The shoe also adds an extra Zoom Air bag at the heel, giving players another layer of impact protection and energy return.
A carbon-fiber midfoot component works alongside a TPU shank to provide additional structure and stability, while the upper utilizes an intricate engineered construction designed to keep the shoe lightweight and supportive.
The result is a basketball shoe that looks every bit as futuristic as the technology underneath it.
Six Gemstone-Inspired Colorways
The first-look images reveal six distinct versions of the Air Jordan XLI:
- 🔴 Red — a bold, tonal red finish with a striking translucent midfoot element.
- 🔵 Blue — a deep blue/navy upper contrasted by an icy translucent outsole.
- 🩷 Pink — a clean tonal pink execution from the upper through the outsole.
- 🟣 Purple — an eye-catching iridescent purple upper paired with black detailing.
- 🖤 Black/Gold — a dark charcoal construction highlighted by a metallic gold/orange midfoot element.
- ⚪ Black/White — a high-contrast black-and-white patterned upper finished with an icy translucent outsole.
While the collection is being presented as gemstone-inspired, Jordan Brand’s approach gives each colorway its own personality without relying exclusively on traditional Air Jordan color blocking.
A New Era for Jordan Basketball
The Air Jordan XLI arrives at an important point for the Jordan Basketball line. Rather than simply looking back at the brand’s legendary history, the latest signature model pushes the design and technology forward.
With ZoomX foam, full-length Zoom Strobel, additional heel Zoom Air, carbon fiber and a TPU shank, the AJ41 appears to be engineered with modern performance basketball firmly in mind.
And visually, the six gemstone-inspired colorways give the model a premium identity from the start.
The Air Jordan XLI is expected to release in the U.S. on October 25, 2026, for $205.
