In a move that should have happened fat sooner, Two-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson will finally receive her own signature sneaker.
The Las Vegas Aces star made the announcement on her Instagram account, wearing a hoodie that reads, “Of Course I Have a Shoe Dot Com.”
Her upcoming debut silhouette, the A’One is slated to debut in 2025.
Alexa Phillippou also reported that Wilson is also added to the ranks of the Nike signature athletes, joining the likes of Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams.
She’s the 14th WNBA player to have her own sneaker, following in the outsoles of Sheryl Swoopes, Rebecca Lobo, Lisa Leslie, Dawn Staley, Cynthia Cooper-Dyke, Nikki McCray, Chamique Holdsclaw, Diana Taurasi, Candace Parker, Elena Della Donne, Breanna Stewart, and Sabrina Ionescu.
