For over a decade, the University of Akron has been amongst a host of schools that get treated to team exclusives for their hoops squads. The Lebron XIX is the latest LBJ model the Zips will get to take the hardwood this season.
They sport a light turquiose textile upper accented with navy at the tongue and ankle. White shows up for the Lebron logo on the tongue and Swoosh on the lateral ankle. A crown and Lebron signature appears on the lateral supper structure, while a Zips logo can be seen on the upper portion of the tongue. Underneath, a heel and forefoot Max Zoom unit completes the aesthetic.
These are unlikely to see a retail release, so unless you ball for Lebron’s hometown university, or are in his inner circle, getting your hands ( or feet) on these will take you far off the beaten path.
