The Golden Rams Men’s Basketball faced the Maroon Tigers and came up short to the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers (63-81) at the Forbes Arena on Wednesday Night.
The Golden Rams were down (31-35) in the 1st half but they were outscored (46-32) in the 2nd half.
The Golden Rams faced a challenging match-up but just came up short. The Golden Rams fall to (7-13) overall and (5-9) in the SIAC. The Maroon Tigers improved to (14-7) overall and 11-3) in the SIAC.
Two players scored in double figures for the Golden Rams. Shakur Poteat finished the game with 23 points and 1 rebounds. Javian Johnson finished with 11 points.
Demetrius Calip led the Maroon Tigers with 19 points. Cedric Taylor and Amahn Decker both contributed 14 points.
The Golden Rams will host the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers at 4 pm at the Jones Brothers HPER Complex on Saturday, February 3.
