Albany State hoops to face Clark-Atlanta in SIAC East matchup

The Albany State Golden Rams will play the Clark-Atlanta University Panthers in a key SIAC Eastern Division showdown on Monday, January 30, in Atlanta, Georgia.  The women will play at 5:30 pm and the men will follow at approximately 7:30 pm.
 
The Golden Rams men are (6-15) overall and (6-9) in the SIAC while the Panthers are (6-15) overall and (5-10) in the conference. 
 
The Golden Rams and Panthers last played on January 23, 2023.  The Golden Rams won (59-58).   
 
As a team, the Golden Rams are averaging 62.5 points while allowing 69.2 points per game.  The Golden Rams are shooting 39.1% from the field, 33% from the 3-point line and 68.2% from the free throw line.
 
Malik Parker is averaging 10.9 points and 2.3 rebounds for the Golden Rams.  Maurice Dickson is averaging 10.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. 
 
The Golden Rams women are (6-13) overall and (4-9) in the SIAC while the Panthers are (11-8) overall and (10-4) in the SIAC. 
 
The Golden Rams and Panthers last played on January 23, 2023.  The Panthers won (51-43).
 
As a team, the Golden Rams are averaging 56.9 points while allowing 64.7 points per game.  The Golden Rams are shooting 35.1% from the field, 24% from the 3-point line and 59.3% from the free throw line.
 
Kashay Hankerson is averaging 12.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per game to lead the Golden Rams.  Juanisha Black is averaging 8.5 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.
