Tomorrow the Albany State men’s and women’s hoops teams will take part in the 2023 SIAC Basketball Tourmanent, which is taking place in Savannah, Georgia,
At 8-19 overall and 8-13 in the SIAC, the men’s team will enter the fray as the Eastern Division’s no.4 seed and will face the no.5 seed out of the Western Division Kentucky State Monday at 12:00 noon EST. Kentucky State defeated Albany State 79-75 in their last encounter December 17 in Frankfurt.
The Lady Rams , 8-17 , 6-13 SIAC, are the Eastern Division’s fifth seed and they take the court in an opening round matchup against the no.4 team out of the Western Division, the Dragons of Lane College in the day’s final game, which is tipping off at 7:30 PM EST. The Dragons beat the Golden Rams 67-57 on December 3.
