Though things did not turn out how they wanted in the SIAC Softball Tournament, there was a bit of good news for the Albany State softball team, as they had two of its members named to the SIAC All Tournament Team.
Sydney Pettus- First Base
Sydney Pettus, a sophomore starter a first base from Decatur, GA, recorded 5 hits, 2 dingers, 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs during the tournament.
Trista Murphy- Pitcher and Infielder
Murphy is a freshman pitcher and infielder who hails from Ludowic, GA. During here 23.3 innings in the circle during the SIAC Tournament, she allowed 19 hits, surrendered 6 runs and also struck out 28 batters.
