Alcorn State football to make 8 appearances on ESPN Networks

 Alcorn State University football will be featured on various ESPN networks throughout the 2024 season. Head coach Cedric Thomas and Braves football will play in eight televised contests for fans to enjoy.

    Alcorn fans can see the Braves play on Aug. 29 at the University of Alabama-Birmingham in Birmingham, Ala. at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. ASU will travel to Vanderbilt University on Sept. 7 on ESPNU at 6:30 p.m. On Sept. 21, Alcorn State will face McNeese State University on the road in Lake Charles, La. at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

    The Braves will be featured on ESPN+ as they travel to play Grambling State University on Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. ASU’s next televised appearance will be on Oct. 19 as the team heads to Baton Rouge, La. for Southern University at 6 p.m.

    In November, Alcorn State will have three more games shown on ESPN+. On Nov. 2, the Braves will travel to Mobile, Ala. for the Port City Classic against Alabama State University at 4 p.m. ASU travels to face Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas on Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. Alcorn’s last televised game of the season will be on Nov. 23 as they host Jackson State University at Spinks-Casem Stadium.
