Though Caitlin Clark is garnering the lion’s share, some would say far too much, of the media attention this WNBA season, fellow rookie Angel Reese is having an impressive season. The Chicago Sky forward is averaging 13.5 points and 12.0 rebounds and had a record-breaking streak of 15 consecutive double-doubles.
Reese won WNBA Rookie of the Month for June in which she averaged 14.5 points and 13.2 boards per contest.
She also added WNBA All-Star to the robust list of accolades she is accumulating during her rookie campaign.
Like Clark, Reese can also add a signature athlete to her resume. She let the cat out of the bag following All-Star practice that her signature shoe is in the works.
Asked if the signature shoe was coming, Reese responded, “For sure.”
