This year, 2022, marks the fortieth anniversary of the iconic Air Force One ,and to commemorate this momentous occasion Nike is releasing a special edition of the classic silhouette.
This AF-1 Low sports a white leather upper with brown present at the Swooshes that adorn the lateral and medial sides, bottom of the lacing system, and the embroidered “NIKE AIR” on the heel. On the tongue “NIKE AIR” and “AIR FORCE 1” also shows up in brown and “Anniversary Edition” in golden embroidered script. A branded toothbrush that reads ” Since 1982″ and a hangtag that takes its graphic from a 1982 advertisement completes the upper, with the aesthetic rounded out by a white midsole and a brown rubber outsole.
The “Anniversary Edition” Nike Air Force 1 Low is anticipated to release sometime over the course of the coming months at nike.com and select retail locations.
