The Air Jordan 3 “Tinker” is based off of Tinker Hatfield’s original sketch of the iconic and game-changing Air Jordan 3.
Although this particular colorway of the Tinker 3 has been monikered “Black and Cement”, it is quite different from that well-known colorway. This sneaker makes use of black leather and suede across its upper with its elephant print overlays being black instead of cement grey. Reflective 3M finds a home on the tongue, Swoosh logos and eyelets. On the rear of the shoe is “Nike Air” in black on the rear tab and behind the tongue an embroidered signature of Mt. TInker Hatfield is found.
The upper sits atop a white midsole with a section of black wrapping around underneath the heel. A grey, black and white outsole with NIKE branding rounds out the look of this sneaker.
The black and cement Air Jordan 3 Tinker is scheduled to release July 27 at nike.com and select retail establishments. The sticker price is set at $200 USD.
