The “Black Olive” Air Jordan 7 SE looks like what would be the lovechild between the “Bordeaux” , “Patta” and “Afrobeats” colourways. I feel as if I should despise this coulrway, but for some reason I do not.
It sports an olive nubuck foundational layer overlaid with black suede. The jagged pattern seen on both the forefoot and wrapping the heels is reminiscent to that on the “Afrobeats” ( as well as the Bin 7). A multi-colored tongue is seen along with a cherrywood Jumpman on the lateral ankle. On the rear heel appears chutney embroidered “NIKE AIR” branding and additional embroidery on the rear pull tab.
Underneath resides a chutney and cherrywood-accented black midsole.
The “Black Olive” Air Jordan 7 is scheduled to debut 22 December 2022; they will carry a $200 USD sticker price.
