The short and strange union of Jabari Parker seems to, thankfully be in its death throes. The signing ( 2 years, $40 million) itself was a head scratcher, as he seemed to not really be what the Bulls need and it seemed like the team never had a clear plan on how Parker would be implemented. Of course Jabari did himself no favors with his failure to address his glaring defensive defenciencies, but the Bulls should have done their due diligence.
When ESPN’s Malika Andrew reported that Parker would be removed out of the rotation it was clear they he was not in their present plans or for that of the future.
However instead of merely paying him $20 million to launguish on the Bulls bench, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, the Bulls are engaged in trade talks with several teams” for the former no.2 overall pick.
Parker has posted averages of 15.2 , 6.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 30.1 minutes per contest.
