The Albany State Golden Rams men and women’s basketball teams will play two conference games in three days when they host the Lane Dragons and LeMoyne-Owen Magicians. The Golden Rams women’s team is (3-4) overall and (1-1) in the SIAC. The Golden Rams men’s team is (2-5) overall and (2-0) in the SIAC.
The Golden Rams will host the Lane College Dragons at The Jones Brothers Health, Physical Education and Recreation Complex on the ASU East Campus on Saturday, December 3. The women are scheduled to play at 1:00 pm and the men will follow at approximately 3:00 pm. The Dragons women’s team is (4-1) overall and (2-0) in the SIAC while the men’s team is (3-3) overall and (1-2) in the SIAC.
On Monday, the Golden Rams will host LeMoyne-Owen College at The Jones Brothers Health, Physical Education and Recreation Complex on the ASU East Campus. The women will play at 5:30 pm and the men will follow at 7:30 pm. The Magicians women’s team is (2-4) overall and (1-1) in the SIAC. The Magicians men’s team is (6-1) overall and (3-0) in the SIAC.
Juanisha Black is averaging a double-double for the Golden Rams. Black is averaging 11.3 ppg and 10.2 rpg. Kashay Hankerson is averaging 10.8 ppg.
Maurice Dickson is averaging 15.2 ppg and 5.6 rpg. Malik Parker is averaging 12.0 ppg. Terin Wofford is averaging 11.2 ppg and 4.4 rpg. Maxwell Harris is averaging 10.0 ppg.
