Week 5 SIAC Men’s Volleyballers of the Week

Tuesday the SIAC named their week 5 Men’s Volleyball players of week. Here are the honourees: OFFENSIVE – D’Aaron McCraney, Freshman, Middle Hitter, Central State D’Aaron McCraney led CSU to its first win of the season last week while accumulating 17 kills, along with two service aces and three blocks in matches against D’Youville and Daeman. In CSU’s 3-0 win over D’Youville, McCraney recorded 9 kills and a .471 hitting percentage. In Saturday’s loss to Daemen, McCraney had 8 kills and a .429 hitting percentage. SIAC announces 2021-22 Men’s Basketball Awards

Courtesy of the SIAC: The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its annual men’s basketball awards to cap the 2021-2022 regular season. This year’s all-conference teams, which feature ten student-athletes, were voted on by the league’s head coaches and sports information directors. The 2022 All Conference Team is headlined by Benedict’s senior forward, Tajh Green, who was voted 2021-2022 SIAC Player of the Year.  Player of the YearTajh Green, Benedict Green averaged 14.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game this season. SIAC Tennis Round goes well for Albany State

From the SIAC: The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announces the brackets for its 2022 Women’s and Men’s Basketball Tournament presented by TIAA. The 2022 SIAC Basketball Tournament will be held in the Rock Hill Sport & Event Center on February 28 – March 5 with 12 women’s teams and 13 men’s teams vying for the SIAC crown.
