Golden Rams add Charlie Skalaski IV to coaching staff

From Albany State Athletics Charlie Skalaski (Skuh-LA-Skee) IV enters his first season at Albany State after being hired to serve as the Passing Game Coordinator, Quarterbacks Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. Skalaski joins the Golden Rams with fourteen seasons of coaching experience, including four at the high school level, and ten years at the college level. In those seasons, Skalaski has been a part of one State Championship, five conference championships, two trips to the Division I FCS playoffs and one NCFA National Championship. Albany State softball gets dominating wins over Allen University

Albany State softball extended their win streak to 13 after a dominating sweep of Allen University, winning the games by a combined 23-0 ( 12-0 in Game 1 and 11-0 in Game 2). Game 1 Albany State got right to work in the first inning scoring ten runs and essentially putting the game out of reach from that point forward. Albany State spanks Tuskegee in first two games of series

Albany State baseball got off to a smashing good start in their three-game series with the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University, handing out a pair of beatdowns to the tune of 10-3 and 20-8, respectively. Albany State begins three-game tilt with Golden Tigers today

This weekend the Albany State baseball team ,12-7 (11-3 in the SIAC), will commence a three-game series on Montgomery, Alabama against the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University, 10-8 (8-3 in the SIAC). This will be the first time the two teams have played in nearly six years, April 27, 2016 to be exact. Tuskegee was victorious, winning 7-5. Malik Bell is leading the Golden Rams with a .455 batting average. Albany State tennis sweeps Fort Valley State

The Albany State tennis team took care of business , 7-0, Saturday against the Wildcats of Fort Valley State. In singles competition Doylisha Copeland, Allyah Williams, Asia Raulerson, Sumana Panauganti, Carla Sorroche all claimed victory in their respective matches. In doubles play, Copeland and Williams won their match 6-0, while Bianca Leao and Sumana Panauganti were almost as dominant, winning their match 6-1.
