Albany State to host SIAC Volleyball Crossover

Courtesy of Dr. Earnest Brown, Albany State Athletics Albany State University will host the 2023 SIAC Crossover Tournament at The Jones Brothers Health, Physical Education and Recreation Complex at the ASU East Campus on September 22-23.  The Golden Rams will enter the SIAC Crossover with an undefeated record of (4-0) in the conference.  The 2023 SIAC Crossover Tournament will feature 14 teams.  On Friday, September 22, the Golden Rams will play Tuskegee University at 12:00 noon, Kentucky State University at 4:00 pm and Central State University at 8:00 pm.   On Saturday, September 23,…

The Albany State women’s volleyball took part in the 2022 Warhawk Invitational, which was held September 9-10 in Montgomery, Alabama. In their opening match ASU faced off against the Univers of West Alabama, losing in three sets,( 25-21, 25-17, 26-24) . In a losing effort, Sydney Melton lead the Golden Rams with a kills, Hailey Elyicio had 5 aces, Molly Wilson had a team-high 15 assist, and Mary Peterson had 4 blocks.
