Albany State Volleyball victorious in home finale

In their final home game of the season, the Albany State Golden Rams volleyball team defeated the Middle Georgia State College Knights (3-0) on Tuesday evening.
 
The Golden Rams improved to (15-12) overall while the Knights fell to (4-11) overall.
 
In set 1, the Golden Rams stormed to a (20-10) lead and never looked back as they cruised to a (25-10) victory over the Knights.
 
In set 2, the Knights jumped out to an (11-9) lead over the Golden Rams.  The Golden Rams battled back to take a (21-17) lead.  The Golden Rams won set 2 by the score of (25-19).
 
Once again, the Knights jumped out to an early (11-8) lead.  The Golden Rams scored 5-straight points to take a (13-11) lead.  The Golden Rams won set 3 by the score of (25-16).
 
Jarianis Perez led the Golden Rams with 9 kills.  MiMi Harris finished with 4 aces to lead the Golden Rams.  Kaylin Teasley finished with 4 blocks while Natalie Onoziecontributed with 21 assists.  Sydney Meltonled with 8 digs.
 
Jessamine Dickerson led the Knights with 5 kills.  Ellison Johnson finished with 1 ace.  Yanelis Rodriguez finished with 2 blocks.  Beau Houston contributed with 10 assists and 7 digs.
