The Albany State Golden Rams were defeated by the Spring Hill College Badgers in 3 sets in the semi-finals of the 2022 SIAC Volleyball Tournament in Mobile, Alabama. It was the Golden Rams second time being defeated this season by the Badgers. The Badgers defeated the Golden Rams in 3 sets at the SIAC Mini-Crossover on Saturday, September 17.
The Badgers won set 1 by the score of (25-17). In set 2, the Badgers defeated the Golden Rams (25-15). In set 3, the Badgers won (25-14) to beat the Golden Rams in three sets.
Sydney Melton and Jenae Thomas led the Golden Rams with (9) kills each. Molly Wilson finished with (17) assists and (2) aces for the Golden Rams. Khamari Trotter led the Golden Rams with (5) blocks in the contest. Hailey Elyicio finished with (13) digs for the Golden Rams.
