According to police there, robbers clad in black ensembles robbed a man of his Air Jordans and then shot him with a flare gun. The victim told police that early Easter morning, 2:50 A.M., men unknown to him used force to swipe his sneakers. It appears the Air Jordan 13 will be the latest model to get “Tinkered”. A forthcoming model will be based off an original Tinker Hatfield sketch of the 13. The Tinker 13 will look quite different from the final released version of the 13 in that it features a mid foot strap, and lacks the large side panels that have been synonymous with the aesthetic of the 13. SECAUCUS, NJ — As much as many of us love sneakers, they should never ever cost you your freedom, job or life. Our seemingly never-ending chronicle sneaker-related imbecility takes us to Secaucus, New Jersey. After stealing three pairs of sneakers valued $1,100 from their Secaucus, NJ facility, a UPS was charged with theft. According to police Captain Dennis Miller, at 7:48 a.m. on March 15 Secaucus police responded to the UPS facility and arrested 41-year-old Halif Bryant. The sneaker, which features a black Flyknit upper in place of the traditional leather, was initially set to release this coming weekend but appears to now be set for an August 18 release. In the third quarter of the Minnesota Timberwolves ‘ game against the Houston Rockets, Jimmy Butler went down with an apparent non-contact knee injury. Initially there was speculation and worry that Butler tore his Achilles’ tendon or even his ACL, however a subsequent MRI revealed that a torn Meniscus was what befell him.
