The Air Jordan VIII turns 30 in 2023 and in commemoration of that milestone Jordan Brand has wisely decided to re-release the “Playoff” colorway. The returning version of the shoe MJ wore as he and the Chicago Bulls defeated the Phoenix Suns 4-2 in the 1993 NBA Finals to cap their first three peat seems to be a fairly competent recreation of its forbear. The “Olive” Air Jordan 5 has been in cold storage since its 2007 release. Next year, Jordan Brand is apparently gearing up for their second retail run. At this early juncture there no images available, but the hope is they will be a facsimile of its 2007 progenitor (unlike the upcoming “Chambray 7) , meaning it should feature an olive green showing up on the laces and lace holes. The Jordan Luka 2 is the latest iteration of the signature line of Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Dončić. Its black-based upper is spread across a combination of mesh and synthetic materials with purple appearing as a secondary hue. Luka and Jumpman branding can be seen on the tongue and associated pull, tab respectively. Underneath resides a black midsole that features both solidly colored and multi-colored speckled sections and a Jumpman-branded semi-translucent outsole.
