Teaser Look at the Concepts x Nike Kyrie 6

A few weeks back reports of an upcoming collaboration between Concepts and Nike Basketball on the yet-to-be-released Kyrie 6. This was a cninutation of the partnership that birthed the Ikhet Kyrie 5 in December 2018. There is finally an image of this latest collaboration, albiet not the best as it is a catalog photo. Concepts and Nike Basketball to release a Kyrie 5

Following their “Green Lobster” Kyrie 4 and the “Ikhet” Kyrie 5, Boston based Concepts is dropping another collaborative Kyrie 5. Inspired by constellations , which can be seen on the tongue and Swooshes, this sneaker sports a gradient blue hue with tan showing up on the Flytrap . A darker shade of blue comprises the midsole with a light blue outsole completing the aesthetic. At this juncture, there are not release details available but we will have them once that information avails itself.

A real first look at the Kyrie 6

After being spotted on the feet of Mr. Kyrie Irving during a work out a few weeks ago we finally have them in hand an up close look at Irving‘s upcoming signature shoe the Kyrie 6. The sneaker sports a black upper spread across textile up front and leather wrapping around the heel. White Kyrie and Nike branding are found on the tongue and lateral side,respectively. It appears that Concepts will be reprising their partnership with Nike Basketball for a special colorway of the upcoming Kyrie 6. Outside of the pink tint and guava ice color palette, there is little information currently available on this sneaker and there are no leaked images. As the Kyrie line has a penchant for telling stories that have been integral to Kyrie’s live, but executing them quite well, it will be intriguing to see what will come out of this latest collaboration. Kyrie Irving unveiled the entire “SpongeBob x Nike Kyrie 5” Collection at Rocnation Sports recently. The collection features Kyrie 5s and Kyrie 2 Lows inspired by characters from the show. We could see a release of this collection later this year.

Kyrie Irving to meet with Nets Sunday, deal likely imminent

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, free agent Kyrie Irving is meeting with the Brooklyn Nets Sunday and both sides are “motivated” to get a deal done quickly. Getting the Irving deal done will allows the Nets to turn their focus to how they are going to proceed with D’Angelo Russell. Wojnarowski adds the Nets are looking at potential sign-and-trade scenarios rather than outright renouncing him.

Nike Kyrie 2 Low now available

The Kyrie Low 2 is the latest edition of Irving’s low collared performance model. This initial colorway features a black mesh upper with a midfoot cage that integrates with the lacing system to help hold the foot in place. Wednesday night Kyrie Irving went of for 37 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in Boston’s 99-91 game 2 win over the Indiana Pacers.
