Kevin Durant debuts latest shoe against Clippers

Recently we reported on initial images surfacing of the KD 16 and now the man himself, Kevin Durant, has unofficially introduced his latest shoe to the world. In the first two games of the Suns’ opening round playoff series against the Clippers, Durant broke out a mostly black version of his new kicks. An initial look at the Nike KD 16

The signature line of Kevin Durant marches forward as images have emerged of sixteenth iteration of the series. It features a lower collared silhouette with piping and a later wing that is reminiscent of the Air Penny II. KD and Nike branding can be seen on the tongue and lateral ankle, respectively, completing an upper that sits atop a midsole that will likely house Zoom Air cushioning or we could see it implemented in a strobel fashion, as well as a rubber outsole.
