Trae Young available tonight against Thunder

Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young will be available for the club when they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder Friday night, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Sarah K. Spencer. The recently announced first-time NBA All-Star missed the previous game with a right thigh contusion. No word yet on if there will be any minutes restriction for Young.

Jeff Teague returns to Hawks via trade from Timberwolves.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Atlanta Hawks have engaged in a trade. The Hawks sent guard Allen Crabbe to Minnesota for point guard Jeff Teague and shooting guard Treveon Graham. Teague, has started 13 of the 34 games he has appeared in this season for the Timberwolves, averaging 13.2 points, 6.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds. Hawks may bench a couple of vets

The Atlanta Hawks are a bad team and at though the NBA has not yet reached the halfway point, but at 7-27 , the focus of their season has switched to evaluation mode.
