The Los Angeles Lakers and guard Ben McLemore have come to terms on a contract, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium. The Rockets waived McLemore recently, as they continue their painful March towards a complete rebuild. After a solid campaign for the Rockets last season in which he averaged 10.1 points in 22.8 minutes per contest and shooting 40.0 percent from three-point range, McLemore has taken a step back this season, scoring just 7.4 points on a career-low 35.7 percent from the floor. Clippers to sign DeMarcus Cousins to 10-day deal

Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN noted Cousins needs to test negative for COVID-19 six times before he’ll be cleared to exit the NBA‘s health and safety protocols. The four-time All-Star should be cleared by Monday barring any setbacks. The Charlotte Hornets will be without forward Gordon Hayward for at least the next four weeks. Saturday the Hornets announced the star forward had sprained his right foot and would be reevaluated in about four weeks. Fans to return to Staples Center

According to a statement from the team, Laker fans are not that far away from being able to take in their team in person. Recent California state guidelines paved the way for a return of fans to the Staples Center.
