Markieff Morris likes plenty of things about the Thunder organization- except his playing time. Speaking to reporters during his exit interview Thursday, Morris was very complementary of the Thunder organization, saying he was open to re-upping with the ballclub, provided he has a more substantial role. Morris signed with the Thunder in February, following his his trade from the Washington Wizards to the New Orleans Pelicans and subsequent waiving by the Pelicans. Bucks’ Brogdon out for games 1 and 2
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Malcom Brogdon is going to miss games 1and 2 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the Boston Celtics, according to Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer. Brogdon has been out of the Milwaukee lineup since suffering a minor tear in the plantar fascia in his right foot in mid-March. He was originally expected to be out six to eight weeks. This season Brogdon averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 28.6 minutes per contest.

According to ESPN;s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Phoenix Suns have fired head coach Igor Kokoslov after just one season. Apparently, the Suns initially planned on bringing Kokoslov back for next season. It seems the club had their sights set on 76ers assistant Monty Williams, who the Los Angeles Lakers are also in pursuit of. The Suns went 19-63 in Kokoslov’s first , and last , season in Phoenix.

The National Basketball League announced earlier today that Brooklyn Nets alternate governor Joe Tsai was fined $35,000 for “making public statements detrimental to the NBA” in a recent tweet. He voiced is support of General Manager Sean Marks, who was fined for entering the referee’s locker room after Game 4 of their first round series with the Philadelphia 76ers. In doing that Tsai also called into question the rectitude of the officiating of the aforementioned game.
