John Wall to undergo surgery on injured heel; will miss rest of season

The Washington Wizards’efforts to right the ship this season just took another kick in the nether region. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Brian Windhorst have reported that Washington Wizards guard John Wall is plannning to have surgery on his injured left heel. Shams Charania of the Athletic reported that Wall “tried to battle through the pain in his injured heel” to try to help reroute the Wizards’ derailed season. Patrick McCaw to sign offer sheet with the Cavaliers

The strange journey of Patrick McCaw and the Golden State Warriors has taken a new direction. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that McCaw is signing an offer sheet with the Cleveland Cavaliers today that is for two years and worth $6 million. The second year is non-guaranteed.
