Although not how it was planned, Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen will make his season debut tonight against the Houston Rockets.  A Tuesday return for Markkanen had been kicked around inside the Bulls’ organization. Cavaliers trade Kyle Korver to Jazz

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski the Cleveland Cavaliers traded veteran sharpshooter to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Alec Burks and two future second-round picks. Korver had been averaging 6.8 points in 15.7 minutes per contest while shooting 46.3 percent from three-point range. He joins a Utah Jazz team that has the second-worst three point percentage in the NBA at 31.9 percent and is in need of his outside shooting. This will be Korver’s second run with the Jazz. According to the New York Times’ Marc Stein free-agent center Joakim Noah and the Memphis Grizzlies are in “extensive discussions” about signing him to a contract. Noah Has been riddled with injuries over the past few seasons, only appearing in 82 games total ( including just seven in 2017-18) over the last few season. According to The New York Times’ Marc Stein, the Phoenix Suns will buyout center Tyson Chandler, making him a free agent. Should he be claimed on waivers, Chandler would be owed $13.6 million this year. Left unclaimed, he becomes eligible to sign with any team he chooses.
