Trail Blazers shut down facilities amid positive COVID-19 tests

From the AP: The Portland Trail Blazers have closed their facility for deep cleaning after three positive COVID-19 tests came back in a span of four days. Sunday was to have been the first full day of training camp for the Blazers. They, along with all other NBA teams, began having players back in their facility for individual workouts last week. The Portland Trail Blazers and agent Harry Giles have agreed one a one-year deal, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Highly touted as the number coming out of high school, a series of knee injuries have stymied what many thought would be an ascent to stardom. Last season in 46 appearances, including 17 starts, Giles averaged 6.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in just 14.5 minutes per contest.
