Cooper Flagg looks unhappy with draft lottery outcome

The Dallas Mavericks won the NBA Draft Lottery ( which set off the BS detector of many basketball fans) , meaning they will, in all likelihood, use that No. 1 pick to take Duke forward Cooper Flagg. JuJu Watkins wins Naismith Player of the Year

JuJu Watkins was named the Jersey Mike’s Naismith Player of the Year. The Trojans star completed her second stellar season, averaging 23.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists as she helped lead USC to a 31-4 overall record and 16-1 within the Big 10 on the path to a no.1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.  When the Trojans stepped up against tougher competition, Watkins was even better, averaging 26.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks against AP top ten opponents.  Watkins became the first player, be it Division I, WNBA, or NBA since 2000 to…

Wednesday afternoon the U. S Basketball Writers Association named University of Southern California guard JuJu Watkins their Player of the Year. After a phenomenal freshman campaign, the Lady Trojans sophomore sensation averaged 23.9 points 6.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game as she helped lead USC to a 30-3 overall record and a 16-1 mark in the Big 10. JuJu Watkins tears right ACL against Mississippi State

Juju Watkins hold her right knee in pain after tearing her ACL( image via Robert Gauthier / Los Angeles Times) USC star guard JuJu Watkins will miss the remainder of the NCAA Tournament with a torn ACL.  The injury occurred with 4:43 left in the first quarter of the Lady Trojans matchup against Mississippi State.
