New Orleans Pelicans C/F Derrick Favors told reporters following Thursday’s shootaround that he is “ready to go tonight” in regards to the team’s game against his former club, the Utah Jazz. The big man had missed the previous two contests with a strained hamstring but said, “I feel good. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Atlanta Hawks have engaged in a trade. The Hawks sent guard Allen Crabbe to Minnesota for point guard Jeff Teague and shooting guard Treveon Graham. Teague, has started 13 of the 34 games he has appeared in this season for the Timberwolves, averaging 13.2 points, 6.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds. Sherrod Blakely of NBC Sports Boston, Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum will not be in action for their game Wednesday night against the Detroit Pistons with tendinitis in his right knee. Blakely adds that Tatum is going to travel with the team with the intention of playing against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.
