Toronto Raptors point guard Fred Van Vleet will miss the team’s game against the Chicago Bulls ( not that they need him to beat the abysmal Bulls) due to a knee contusion. Van Vleet suffered the injury against the Philadelphia 76ers. Murphy adds that a subsequent MRI came back clean but the team decided to er on the side of caution and hold him out of Monday night’s contest. Norman Powell will start in Van Vleet’s place.

This is the sixth game that Leonard will have missed this season, all of which had been due to injury/load management issues. Leonard is still averaging 25.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 5.2 in the 18 games he has played in.
