From the nba: NEW YORK – The National Basketball Association game scheduled for Sat., Jan. 16 between the Indiana Pacers and Phoenix Suns at Phoenix Suns Arena has been postponed in accordance with the league’s Health and Safety Protocols. Because of ongoing contact tracing within the Suns, the team does not have the league-required eight available players to proceed with Saturday’s game against the Pacers.

Indiana Pacer guard Victor Oladipo will miss the team’s Monday night game against the San Antonio Spurs with a sore right knee. Oladipo was only ten games into a return from turn quadriceps tendon that prematurely ended his 2018-19 season and had him miss over half of the 2019-20 season. According to The Athletic’s Scott Agnes, Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo will be back in the lineup Thursday night , after missing the previous two contests, when the team takes on the Portland Trail Blazers. Head Coach Nate McMillan confirmed Oladipo would be returning Thursday. Oladipo has missed the first 47 games of the season recovering from a ruptured right quadriceps tendon.
