Howard 61, Loyola (Md.) 59

WASHINGTON, D.C. — 
Iyanna Warren scored Howard’s last five points, over the final 1:04 of the contest, as the Bison came from behind to win their home opener, 61-59 over Loyola (Md.) on Wednesday evening in Burr Gymnasium.

Howard (3-4) has won three of its last four games.

Destiny Howell led three Bison in double figures with a career-high 21 points on 7-for-12 shooting and three 3-pointers. Krislyn Marsh recorded her first double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Warren added 11 points to go along with six assists.

Richmond 69, Maryland Eastern Shore 59

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. — 
Brooklyn Bailey led Maryland Eastern Shore with 16 points Wednesday evening at the Robins Center, but Richmond escaped with a 69-59 win over the Hawks.

Amanda Carney added 13 points and nine boards. Bairesha Gill-Miles also had nine rebounds.

Campbell 67, South Carolina State 46

ORANGEBURG, S.C. — 
Trinity Klock led South Carolina State with 13 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double, but Campbell defeated the Bulldogs 67-46 Wednesday evening at the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
