A Brooklyn, N.Y. man decided that the Christmas season was for taking and not giving. On December 23, an employee at a retailer on Flatbush Avenue told police he saw the suspect walk out of the store near Atlantic Avenue with an estimated $224 of footwear and socks. The would-be theif wrapped the anti-theft sensors with aluminum foil to thwart the alarms from going off as he exited the store.
