Vans x The Simpsons collaboration in the works

Vans and The Simpsons are joining forces on a collaborative sneaker release. Vans teased the future collaboration on their website and Twitter feed. The two entities last worked together in 2007 on a run of limited edition silhouettes. At this juncture there are no images available or what shoe(s) will be part of this collaborative endeavour, however we will provide updates on this collaboration as information avails itself.

Vans x National Geographic Era Collection

National Geographic and Vans have joined forces on a special collection The collection puts a National Geographic-inspired spin on five of Vans’ classic silhouettes-the Authentic, Era, Sk8-Hi, and the Slip-On, and a contemporary silhouette, the UltraRange EXO. The Vans Bold Ni is has returned as an example of a modern update on a vintage silhouette. This look features an all-red upper in a combination of leather and suede, with the only non-red aspect of said upper being the white laces. A red red midsole with the “Off The Wall” logo present on the heel and a gum rubber midsole completes the aesthetic. This Plaid Vans Old Skool is now available

The latest version of Vans’ classic Old Skool sneaker sports a blue based tartan pattern with black suede overlays at the toebox, eyelets and wrapping the heel. A white vulcanized sole with Vans “Off The Wall” branding on the rear heel completes this silhouette’s aesthetic. This Old Skool is available at select skate shops like Rule of Next.

Vainl Archive puts their spin on the Vans Authentic

Tokyo-based fashion label Vainl Archive and Vans have linked up on this limited-edition version of the Vans Authentic. This Vans Authentic sports a black denim upper with black leather trim at the collar and tongue. Wrapping around the heel is a black and white tessellated (checkerboard) pattern with the look repeated on the inner. The Discovery Channel’s annual Shark Week has become a highly anticipated phenomenon ( including by yours truly) and it has teamed up with Vans to produce shoes and apparel that is in support of the mission of Oceana to protect the sharks and their oceanic biosphere. Vans Ni Tartan Pack now available

The Tartan Pack from Vans is comprised of two colorways of the Bold Ni. One pair sports green upper with a tartan pattern , while the other pair sports that of red. Both pairs feature white leather overlays and sit on white midsole and gum rubber outsole. Both pairs are currently available at select retail establishments such as Coutié with a sticker price of £77 GBP, which is approximately $96 USD.

A mix of plaids are found on this version of the Vans Authentic. In addition to the aforementioned plaid, other features of this upper include metal eyelets, and a Vans label at the forefoot. On the white midsole, a “Vans off the Wall” image is found on the rear heel.
