Allen head football coach Cedric Pearl is excited to announce the 33 new Yellow Jackets that have signed their national letters of intent to join the football program as members of the 2025 recruiting class. The signing class features 16 high school signees and 17 collegiate transfers
“I’m really excited about this recruiting class,” said Pearl. “We addressed our needs at the offensive line and defensive line positions by adding size and depth. We also recruited the state of South Carolina vigorously and worked hard to identify and sign local prospects. We’re looking forward to the 2025 season.
Among the 12 South Carolina natives that are members of the class, 10 will begin their collegiate careers in their home state. Frederick Rogers, an offensive lineman from Virginia University of Lynchburg, and JaKobe Scholfield, a defensive lineman from Hutchinson Community College, are returning to South Carolina for their remaining eligibility.
As a group, the 2025 signing class is represented by eight different states including South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, New York, and Mississippi.
Allen will open the 2025 against FCS competition on August 30 at Morehead State in Morehead, Kentucky.
