Friday we reported on images of an, up until that point, never before seen pair of FAMU-specific LeBron XX that surfaced via the twitter account of Rattlers head coach, Willie Simmons in a since-deleted tweet.
Shortly after that tweet was deleted , the FAMU Athletics Instagram account posted clear beauty shots of the aforementioned kicks. This latest set of images allows for a better look at the upper , which features a snake scale aesthetic. The same serpent-inspired pattern is seen on the Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides. The lace dubraes sport “XX” branding, while the insoles sport a Rattler logo one one and “APB” , a nod to the store in Tallahassee that sold the FAMU Dunk, on the other. On the rear heel “A&M” is seen in the school’s colors.
Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a two color foam midsole and a rubber outsole.
As these are a team/school exclusive a retail release seems highly unlikely.
