From the CIAA:
This week, we kick off the CIAA Student-Athlete Spotlight by featuring Jaleel Scroggins of Shaw University. Scroggins is a senior football student-athlete from Raleigh, NC. He is a business administration major with a concentration in accounting and maintains a 3.35 grade point average.

“I want to continue to play football professionally. If that does not work out, I want to join my aunt’s accounting firm.”
Your greatest inspiration:
“My greatest inspiration is my daughter because she gave me a new life.”
What do you love the most about being a student-athlete your school?
“I love my HBCU’s environment. Also, I enjoy being able to develop life-long friendships with my teammates, whom are like brothers, and playing the game I love.”
