CIAA Student Athlete Spotlight: Bowie State’s Justice Davis

From the CIAA:

The CIAA Student-Athlete Spotlight presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors continues this week with a feature on Justice Davis of Bowie State University. Davis is a redshirt senior football student-athlete from Washington, D.C. He is a criminal justice major with a 3.25 grade point average.

Athletic Accomplishments:

Football – 2019 All-CIAA Second Team Selection

Football – Member of the 2018 & 2019 CIAA Championship Teams

Football – Bowie State Athletics Male Student-Athlete of the Year (2018-19)

Something unique most people wouldn’t know about you: 

“I am the first in my family to become a member of a fraternity (Kappa Alpha Psi).”

Your goals or plans after finishing school:

“My goal is to play in the NFL or either be an agent with the FBI or CIA.”

Your greatest inspiration:

“My greatest inspiration is my mother. She is the hardest working person I know and she is always grinding. She was able to take care of me and my sister while going through different types of adversities and always pushed herself. She tells me to always go above and beyond.”

What do you love the most about being a student-athlete your school?

“I enjoy the atmosphere around the Bowie State campus. Of course I do my school work but after the games I’m able to enjoy myself after a good win. That’s the greatest feeling ever.”
