It may have been a year later than expected, but it appears DeMarcus Cousins will be donning the purple and gold of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that the two sides agreed to a one-year deal. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed yet.
Last season in his 30 regular season appearances with Golden State, Boogie averaged 16.3 points and 8.2 assists and was playing well heading into the playoffs before unfortunately suffering a partially torn quadriceps in the first round against the Clippers. He returned in the Finals and was up and down, though he was a difference maker in Game 2.
This could make the 2019-20 Lakers quite volatile, considering LeBron James own admission for wanting things to be uncomfortable ( aka chaotic) and Cousins’ , at times mercurial demeanor.
