The Golden State Warriors are bringing back one of the pillars of their championship dynasty.
According to Shams Charania, Draymond Green has agreed to return to the Warriors on a one-year, $27.7 million contract. The deal comes after Green opted out of his previous contract earlier this offseason, a move that reportedly gave Golden State additional financial flexibility while pursuing LeBron James.
With the Warriors ultimately unable to land the four-time NBA MVP, Green will now receive the same salary he was originally scheduled to earn.
