The “Eggplant” Nike Air Foamposite One debuted back into 2009 and was ran back out in 2017 as part of the silhouette’s 30th anniversary. In 2024 the “Eggplant” Foam Ones are being primed for their third retail run.
Like its 2009 and 2017 forbears, the 2024 iteration will sport an iridescent purple Foamposite upper paired with black nubuck at the eyerows, with the same hue present at the collar, tongue and inner. One Cent logos can be seen on the rear heel and in jeweled form on the tongue. Varsity purple also can be seen on the stripes on the pull tabs and the small Swoosh seen on the lateral forefoot.
Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a carbon fiber shank and translucent rubber outsole with a purple traction section.
As it currently stands, the “Eggplant” Nike Air Foamposite One is planned to drop in January 2024.
