The French Federation of Basketball announed on Friday that Frank Ntilikina will not be available for EuroBasket 2022 and the next round of World Cup Qualifiers due to an undisclosed injury as reported by eurohoops.net.
The 24-year-old Dallas Mavericks point guard is fourth player from the French national team to go down with an injury, joining Moustapha Fall, Andrew Albicy, and Victor Wembyama.
Coach Vincent Collet indicated he does not intend to bring in a player to replace Ntilikina, but 46 overall plck in the 2022 NBA draft, Ismael Kalagate will likely be brought in to be additional body during training camp.
