Partizan got away with the win in an epic triple-overtime battle against Monaco in the Istanbul Cup semifinal

The new season is approaching and teams keep up their preparation across multiple stages in the Old Continent on Saturday.
An epic showdown that ended in triple overtime sent Partizan to the final of the Istanbul Cup, after prevailing over AS Monaco 120-114.
After a fairly balanced second half, no team could sustain the lead towards the final win, leading the game to overtime. At the 50-minute mark, Partizan took charge and managed to get away with the win, advancing to the final.
Alen Smailagic exploded with 32 points, 8 rebounds for Zeljko Obradovic‘s squad, Zach LeDay had 23 points, Kevin Punter and Yam Madar posted 21 and 19 points each for the Serbian side.
Rob Gray paced Monaco with 19 points, Danilo Andjusic followed with 17 points, Dante Hall added 15, while Alpha Diallo and Paris Lee scored 14 points each.
Crvena Zvezda grabbed a bittersweet 83-55 victory against Panathinaikos to advance to the MagentaSport Cup final in Munich, as the Serbian club saw Aaron White exiting with a severe hand injury.
White had 9 points and 5 rebounds prior to his injury, while Nikola Kalinic paced Zvezda with 13 points and six assists. Nikola Ivanovic and Luka Mitrovic also left the court with double digits, scoring 12 and 11 points respectively.
Leonidas Kaselakis was Panathinaikos’ leading scorer with 13 points, Kendrick Perry and Vasilis Kavvadas added 8 points each.

ALBA Berlin grabbed a 71-62 win against ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne at the Paris European Games.
Marcus Erikkson had 20 points to lead the German side to victory in their second preparation game for the upcoming season and Maodo Lo posted 19 points.

The intensity was good in the second half when our players were able to play our basketball. Olimpia Milano dominated Paris Basketball with a 95-64 win, as part of the Paris European Games tournament, led behind a 19-point performance by Troy Daniels. The Italian side managed to keep control of the game right from the first quarter and registered one more win to boost their preparation.
Shavon Shields added up to Daniels’ efforts with 15 points, while Sergio Rodriguez tapped 8 points and Milan Barbitch had 15 points for the hosts.
CSKA Moscow grabbed an easy 107-68 victory against Lavrio at the semifinal of the Neofytos Chalandriotis Tournament held in Cyprus.
Andri Lopatin and Nikola Milutinov led the way for the Army Team with 15 points each and Iffe Lundberg posted 14 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds.
FC Bayern Munich prevailed over Virtus Bologna 90-66 to advance to the MagentaSport Cup final, where they will face off Crvena Zvezda on Sunday.
Andreas Obst took charge for the German side with 18 points, Nick Weiler-Babb and Deshaun Thomas added 11 points each and Zan Mark Sisko had 10 points.
Marco Belinelli was the only player for Virtus to score in double digits and finished the game with 17 points.
Pierria Henry hit the game-winner to lift Fenerbahce to an 81-79 victory against UNICS Kazan, to move to the Istanbul Cup final where they will meet Partizan on Sunday.
Nando De Colo carried Fener to the victory with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, while Devin Booker had 15 points, 6 rebounds.
Lorenzo Brown caused trouble to his former team, scoring 21 points, along with 5 assists for UNICS. Marco Spissu, John Brown and Andrey Vorontsevich left the court with 11 points apiece.
Olympiacos completed Saturday’s action with an 88-65 win against Zenit S. Petersburg at the Neofytos Chandriotis Tournament in Cyprus.
Sasha Vezenkov paced the Greek side with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, Hassan Martin added 13 points and Kostas Sloukas had 10 points.
Zenit newcomer Shabazz Napier added 18 points and Alex Poythress followed with 13.
