Keith Lamar and Morrell Schramm combined to score 37 total points – 63.8 percent of Florida A&M’s points – but the Rattlers fell to the Iowa State Cyclones 96-58 on the road Sunday.

Lamar led the Rattlers (2-7) with 27 points and eight rebounds. Schramm tacked on 10 points, eight rebounds and four assists off the bench and Shannon Grant chipped in as well with eight points.

The Florida A&M offense was impressive from deep, knocking down 10 threes on 27 attempts. Lamar hit seven treys for the Rattlers in the contest.

How It Happened

Florida A&M struggled out of the gate, falling behind 44-24 heading into halftime.

Florida A&M could not pull any closer in the second half, losing by a final of 96-58. Florida A&M shot well from three-point range in the half, hitting five shots from deep to score 15 of its 34 points.
